There's so many tools, isn't there? Right now, we're only providing source files in Sketch. We haven't done UI work in Photoshop for quite some time, so that isn't on our roadmap, but if everyone's interested in say, a figma version of a certain course file then we're open to creating those assets.
Nope! Once you've signed up, you're in for life. Your purchase will never expire, and you'll have access to all the source files, and slack channel for the module you purchased.
Great question! If you're interested in buying a second module, or upgrading to the whole class after a single module, let us know and we'll send you a special discount code 😉
Of course! We have lots of additional course modules we're planning to release, like Motion Design and Illustration to name a couple. Have an idea for a new module? Let us know!
Definitely. It's hard to learn to be a great designer without critique. We're still working on the best way for students to submit work for review, but it'll likely be through Invision, and we'll likely have an open feedback session on a specific day/time every week. You'll get valuable critique from the community on Slack as well.
It's for everyone, at all levels. If you're just getting into UX design, then you're going to walk away with a solid framework for creating successful, impactful work, and if you've already been doing this for a few years, we guarantee there's great techniques and frameworks in this course that will help you level up too. We've even taught some of these techniques to other Design Directors across North America, so rest assured, you'll walk away with some awesome tools for your toolkit.
Every Design Director and Creative Director wants their team to be levelling up, all the time. The tools and techniques you'll learn here won't just improve your value to the team, but will help your team to engage clients and stakeholders in a much more efficient and effective way. That turns into better productivity, happier clients, better outcomes, and repeat business. If they're not comfortable paying for the whole class, see if they'll pay for a single module so they can see the benefit it brings to you and the team. We suspect they'll be happy to pay for the whole course 😉
Great question. We've tried to keep things concise but impactful, so you can knock out a lesson over lunch, or spend office hours working on your skills without impacting your other work too much. Every student is different, so general course times may vary, but here's a reasonable expectation of how much time you'll want to put into each module providing you're doing all of the assignments and design challenges throughout (and you should!)
Module 1 / Start With People
1 hour a day for 2 Weeks (10 hours)
Module 2 / Style + Structure
1 hour a day for 3 Weeks (15 hours)
Module 3 / Execution + Handoff
1 hour a day for 3 Weeks (15 hours)
If you think of it as 5 solid days of intense training, it might help you or your manager see the comparison between this course and a conference, or something else you'd invest in for your professional development.
Of course we do. We guarantee that you'll get value out of this course, and if you're not happy what you've paid for, we offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase. If you've pre-purchased the course, then we give you 14 days from the time the first module goes live. Ultimately, we want you to get as much out of this as we've put in.
If you're looking to sign up several members of your team, or you're a student currently enrolled in a design program, we'd love to help you out. Drop us a line and tell us a little more about your program or team.
